About Kåre

Kåre trained as a cabinet maker before studying furniture design at Danmarks Designskole — an unconventional path that gave him something most product designers lack: an intimate understanding of how materials actually behave when you work them with your hands. That maker's instinct runs through every product he designs.

As Head of Industrial Design at LastObject, Kåre leads the physical development of every product from concept through to manufacturing specification. He works with factories directly, testing materials, tolerances, and surface finishes obsessively. His rule: a product is not done until you pick it up and it feels exactly right.

He co-founded LastObject with Isabel Aagaard and Nicolas Aagaard in Copenhagen in 2019. His design philosophy: great objects provoke an emotion, then disappear into daily life.
