About Isabel

Isabel co-founded LastObject in Copenhagen in 2019 after years designing medical products — from chemotherapy take-home kits to maternity ward equipment. Her background working with products that people depend on daily shaped her belief that everyday consumer objects deserved the same rigour: designed to last, not to be discarded.

She holds a Master's in Collaborative Design from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts (RDAFA). Her approach to product design: the best object is the one you never think about replacing.

Isabel leads company strategy, brand, and partnerships at LastObject. She is a frequent speaker on sustainable design and circular economy practices, and her work has been recognised in international design press including Vogue, Wallpaper, and Core77, and selected for the Beazley Designs of the Year at the Design Museum London in 2020.
